It appears that WWE is in talks with WWE Legend and Hall of Famer Bret "The Hitman" Hart. WWE has been trying to have him return for a weekly storyline character.
Ever Since the Original Montreal Screw job in 1997 Hart said he would never return to WWE as a wrestler, authority or Manager. Hart has openly changed his mind and said he wouldn't mind joining WWE again.
Although nothing is going to happen short term, if anything were to happen it would take some time. WWE did the 2nd Montreal Screw job as sort of a way for people to talk bout this one rather then 1997.
Vince McMahon had previously said in 2006 that he would face Bret in a street fight, that never happened. Hart was originally planned to team with Shawn Michaels in 2006 against the McMahons, instead Shawn teamed with "god"

I sure hope this happens. It would be great to see him manage The Hart Dynasty

They have to do this right. I want to see him as GM of RAW & beat the holy hell(Storyline wise) out of vince. That's what everyone's wanting to see.

They have been "in talks" with him for years. I'll believe it when I see it.
