@26: Jackasses in tights? No, that's Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Well, mostly just Super Dragon. But PWG is the crap fed, not CHIKARA.

"Wrestling fan"... People still use this argument? It seems people seem to forget one aspect of being a pro-wrestler, it's a job. Just because you quit or are fired from a job in your feild, doesn't mean you never work again. Put yourself in the shoes of a pro-wrestler. You work for WWE, make decent money but one day you lose your job. What would you do? Just never wrestle again cause of loyalty to the brand you're not longer in? No, you would look for work. Obviously another federation will end up picking you up since your name has some fame behind it now from being in WWE, this is only natural. I remember during the attitude era people said this kind of stuff and I had to point out how most of WWE/F was former ECW guys, but no one seemed to complain. Now, I'll agree about the REALLY old wrestlers simply because in ring they are limited to what they can do, but doesn't mean they should go jobless. Understand what you're talking about in more in depth and realistic way kids.

As I predicted in the last "let's combine ratings" article, TNA has yet again failed to trump WWE. This should the people running TNA the clue to back off Monday night before they fail entirely. And if there is a replay Thursday, please do NOT post an article saying that they have a combined rating of something less than WWE's and say how great it is.

Once again, it's just because WWE has a larger base established, many WWE fans are, let's face it, not real wrestling fans so barely even know TNA exists. Those that do blow it off right away because they are 12 year olds who think being "loyal" to one show or another means something. I enjoy both feds, but last two weeks TNA's shows have been far better.

TNA has some great WRESTLERS (RVD, Kurt Angle, AJ Styles), but WWE has superior production values and more ENTERTAINING characters who can still put on great matches (HBK, Orton, Jericho). WWE is the better product of the two, without a doubt. TNA reeks of egomania run wild. It's basically the Hulk Hogan show.

Tell me, what's a "real wrestling fan?" Anyway, all I'm seeing is that TNA can't compete on RAW's level and shouldn't try.

I am a big WWE fan. I tried to watch TNA but I just can't get into it. If TNA wants to succeed they should stop trying to cpmpete against WWE and just work on being TNA. TNA shouldn't even think about WWE. They should just keep promoting there product. If they do this they might survive. If they keep trying competing with WWE they will lose their own identity.

TNA should give up the whole Monday night take over and go back to Thursday. And I agree with Comment 12: TNA should do its own thing instead or ripping off things the WWE has done. As I told the TNA Fan boys, expect to hear the bell toll for TNA sometime soon if they keep this up. I used to enjoy watching it, except for the constant WWE mentions.

Ok i like TNA its good and all but if u look at the facts its a whole bunch ofgreat OLD wrestlers trying to live in the glory days one more ime. I mean look at team 3d they can't even breath after one match! They r loosing their orginality i mean i miss the 6 sided ring it was cool and orginal. Jeff Hardy and RVD and Kurt r really the only reason i like to watch it. They r the only reason they got a rating at all. Hulk is to old to wrestle so they lost alot of viewers cause he cant wrestle and who wants to watch washed up wcw. Thats really all it is washed up WCW,ECW, and AWA wrestlers trying to be 20 when they r 40 plus. WWE is the best and i don't see any show that will get close to taking their place.

first i wanna say comment 32 omg HHH VS HBK HIAC Rematch for mania. who souldnt wanna see that!
then as previous comments im confused. i want tna to create its own thing and not keep struggeling to keep up with wwe.
if they keep doing so vince might buy the company.
on the other hand if he does he will make a invasion 2.
and who wouldnt wanna see a jeff vs matt event winning fed gets all after a series of comepetions where it turns into a draw

Do pure WWE fans think competition is bad or something? I don't get it. It's like you guys WANT WWE to be a monopoly and there to be no other choices or options in wrestling. All this does (as we have seen since WCW and ECW closed) is bring down the product of your own brand. Whatever though, like I said. Most of you are 12 years olds and don't really understand anyway. *shrugs*

Interesting how people keep saying give up tna but they completely ignore the fact that the wwf got it's ass kicked for years by wcw.
By following your "advice" the wwf would not even exist right now.

Both shows suck equally. WWE has a bigger fanbase, advertisement, and money behind it. Not to mention more people get to see WWE because it's on more accessible networks than Spike.
THAT is why WWE is on top, and will be on top. It's not about which show is better because that's the proverbial giant douche vs turd sammich. If it was truly about show quality, CHIKARA would be the billion-dollar company, and Ultra Mantis Black would be the one shilling Slim Jims.
Come to think of it, UMB shilling Slim Jims would be a really funny thing to see.

Sadly I'm beyond the age where I have to support one or the other just for the sake of being loyal. I personally think TNA have had some of the best fights of the year, although they've got some godawful production and some godawful storylines at times
Angle/Wolfe best of three falls late last year was an awesome fight, and Taker/HBK at WM was also a terrific fight. To dismiss either of those just because you're loyal to one or the other would deprive you of a great evening.

well, this week i watched both shows and i found these things exciting to see: ...first WWE had its moments, stonecold steve austin being one of them obviously coming was something most fans wanted to see, i liked how the vince/bret segment went, austin played that well in his own fashion having the contract signing and then telling vince " oh and one more thing, well, i will let bret tell you" that was priceless when vince turned around and bret had is cast and crutch sitting on the table......but TNA had its moments too, and as a overall show, i thought TNA did rather well with the hall/nash match (even though hall can't wrestle anymore), bischoff getting his head shaved via foley, the angle/anderson matchup..drawing blood, hogan being urged not to wrestle anymore... and rvd wanting revenge from what sting did to him last week, beer money and the jeff jarret as ref angle...TNA will get stronger, as all i saw in WWE was just the same old matches that have been done before and frankly was a bit boring in my opinion, like during the diva's match in WWE, i tuned into TNA to watch the hall/nash segment.

Ok I have watched both shows. I record one while I watch the othe. I will say that TNA is a good show but they are just immiatating the WWE. Sure TNA has some big name wrestlers but most of them are from the past WWE and WCW war days. They are bringing int he PAST not the future. If TNA want to succed they should find NEW wrestlers not WWE/WCW old wrestlers. Come on Flair & Hogan are 60 y/o and Nash is almost 50. That is the attitude era. Supprised they have not tried to get Stone Cold. I will continue to record TNA and watch RAW

Oh ok josh TNA is all about old wrestlers rying to live in the glory days, forget matt morgan, hernendez, doug williams, rob terry, amazing red, daniels, kaz,aj styles, abyss and all of TNA younger talent. TNA is just about the old guys and if think about it thats all you tna haters keep coming back too is TNA's older talent, god some of you crapped your pants when it was posted that Dave Taylor would be coming on as a agent.
